Chris King makes seriously “bomb proof” components. The shakers are a $120 novelty but their hubs and headsets are legendary.

Also, here is a tidbit from the FAQ section of the site,

Does the hub warranty cover radial lacing?
Answer: Not anymore. Too much additional load is placed on the weakest part of the hub (the flanges) and little is gained by radial lacing. It is not stronger than a 2X pattern and hardly lighter. Why do it?

So just remember radial lacing might look cool, but it isn’t a good idea. I would suggest twisting your spokes for the extra cool guy appeal.
