Black window blinds? Great Idea! - But think twice before buying

The question is: Why black? Do that the black will give a better light control, or are you one of those who seek original home decorations unique? If you belong to the first category, you feel disappointed, black blinds provide the same amount of light blockage as their white counterparts.
