Why a Red Ribbon Week assembly?
Red Ribbon Week assemblies are events that conducted in schools that focus on educating school children and teachers about healthy lifestyles and drug free. Red Ribbon week are assembly programs full of exciting activities and fun information.
The Red Ribbon Week was formed in helping to remember Enrique "Kiki" Camarena and his colleague and driver who were kidnapped, tortured and later killed in retaliation for a drug raid conducted by the DEA. Enrique "Kiki" Camarena and pilot spent four years in Guadalajara, Mexico, in an undercover operation aimed at drug search providers. The undercover operation resulted in a tip that allowed the DEA to discover the value of several million dollars for medicines to unsuspecting users, including children, throughout the U.S.. "" Kiki and close relatives of the residents of his hometown of Calexico, Calif., wore red ribbons in his honor and then the Red Ribbon Week was formed. The first week Red Ribbon was proclaimed in 1988 with Nancy Reagan playing an active role in organizing and promoting the event.
Perfection on Wheels, a bicycle BMX team of specialists offers an event of Red Ribbon Week Assembly at which action-packed stunt on their bikes to applause from the students. They also invest much time in writing and developing educational programs about why remain drug free and healthy lifestyle is so important. Students enjoy learn how to stay healthy and at the same time, you can also find the bike stunts become a new and interesting hobby.
Drug abuse among adolescents increasing daily, not only in the U.S. but worldwide as the young continually seek new thrills and treble. Red Ribbon Week assemblies focuses on educating students on how to stop using drugs before, and the impact and consequences of drug use. All this is done during a live performance, where the double feats and students show that there are other emotions in addition to the use and abuse.
The real impact of a program set of Red Ribbon Week can be seen clearly in the students' faces that look in amazement at the breathtaking acrobatics, while learning how to lead a life healthy, active life free of drugs. The beauty of a Red Ribbon Week assembly is that the information and education that students receive during the event will stay with them over the coming years, giving them an advantage and a solid foundation for your future.
