Seven basic rules that apply to all Air Hockey tables

Last holiday season my older daughter was home from college. An event welcome as it is a freshman and was their first time away from home for a long period of time. We enjoy having your home and quality time spending together, but one of the most pleasant evening was New Year's Eve party in the traditional family. Down in the basement of the house were in a variety of table games, including a pair of air hockey tables. There my daughter challenged me to a game.

When I was a child, my brother had a table, but I had not played for years but I felt ready for the challenge, because I thought my daughter was played at all. I can easily scored, and took an early lead, but did not last long time. We played with ten and lost after an active, game half hour.

Many more games in a row with different competitors. But by the end of the later, reached a unanimous consensus that air hockey tables were the best of all gaming tables available. So, I started researching different hockey tables air, and with it the rules (mainly because they were not sure, what score to play for the win).

Now, air hockey is not very difficult, smell the puck into the opponents goal. But there are some basic rules of which I was not aware. Here are some of these rules that are expected to make the game more pleasant at all air hockey tables .

1. To eliminate any further argument or discussion the competitive game of hockey is to seven. This is a great score for the game at home too. Enough to be fun, but not so high to make a game too long. Also good if someone is waiting on the sidelines to play the winner.
2. It may strike the puck with any part of the deck, but you may not "top" the disc. This means you can not put his deck at the top of the disc. I do not know. When playing as a boy, often "above" the disk to stop or put it under control. However, if the disc is in the air, you can use the deck for the disk under control.
3. Although I do not know why you would want because it exposes your goal, you can stand anywhere on their side of the air hockey table, do not cross the centerline.
4. Once the disc passes center line on their side of the air hockey table, you have seven seconds to hit back at his opponent.
5. When scored, have ten seconds to recover disk and serve it back to his opponent.
6. Each player may call a timeout during a game, but only when the disk is on their side of the table. Weather waiting lasts 10 seconds.
7. A player's hand, arm or clothing are not allowed to touch the disk, or is a foul. But If the disc is lifted from the table and touch her hand or clothes, no foul. In most offenses, the disc gives the opponent to serve.
