How to report wires or cables under a carpet
Wires and cables everywhere in your room it looks like a mess. Exposed wires and cables are also very dangerous. Necessary Items
You need the following to perform this task:
- Measuring tape
- Pliers
- Knife
- Fish sticks
- Duct tape
Steps
1. The first thing you have to select where you want to adjust the components. Also find out which way they want to run cables. Measure the distance and get a cable of appropriate length.
2. The next step is to make the rug strips of his tactics, which allow an easy exit for cables. Pull the edge the carpet with tweezers to let free of the tack strips. Remember not to throw much of the carpet.
3. Now you need to fish stick, duct tape and a knife. With a knife cut a small piece of tape. Now, take wire at the end of the fish stick and apply tape over them. To adjust the length of the fish stick, you can screw one or two fish sticks together.
4. Now put the fish pole with wire under the carpet and push it on the road from where you wish the cable to exit. You can move and change the direction of the fish stick when necessary. Do it gently. Never show any urgency while pushing the lever fish.
5. Now go to another end of the carpet and pull the carpet edge with pliers.
6. After removing the carpet edge, keep the fish pole end with pliers and pull toward you. Pull out from under the carpet completely.
7. Once the wire and stick the fish is outside the other end, take the tape off-farm Cable and fish sticks.
8. Connect the cable with the component. Replace the carpet in place properly. You are done with their work.
Precautions
- Metal coat hangers appears as a far better alternative than fish sticks. If available are used in place of fish sticks. It is best to use a cable plane under the carpet instead of the standard. Flat cables easily adjust under the carpet.
- Never use high voltage cables or wires under the carpet. The use of high voltage cables wires under the carpet increases the chance of fire risk.
- Utility knife is harmful if used casually has a very sharp blade to take extra care while using it.
