TaylorMade has announced its latest line of clubs, a game-improvement suite that includes driver fairway woods and irons and carries the designation r7 CGB Max.

The "Max" (TaylorMade spells all caps), the company said in a statement press, it means: ... maximum distance, maximum forgiveness, maximum performance and the kind of maximum ease of use that most players would not have imagined.

The "CGB" stands for "center of gravity back," as in the center of gravity is positioned deep backward the respective clubheads. This is the typical tactic at this time to improve the game and the clubs in the super-game improvement. Moving the center of gravity toward the rear depth and helps the golfer achieve a higher launch - to get the ball in the air, in other words - and more carry distance.

TaylorMade agreed to make the new r7 CGB MAX family of clubs to be the very best equipment improve the game that money can buy, and the iron lives up to promise. The head is large optimally weighted with the help of visible tungsten weights that increase MOI for greater stability and forgiveness. The topline is hollow and the weight saved is used to move the CG deeper into the clubhead for incredibly easy throwing the ball at a high altitude flight, the distance improvement. head speed is increasing dramatically with the incorporation of SuperFast Technology, which axis includes the ultra thin and light, flexible clubface faster (thinner than the previous r7 CGB MAX model). Woods TaylorMade r7 CGB Max fairway

The fairway woods will follow the driver for the market in a month, hitting retail displays November 30 2007.

The r7 CGB Max fairway metals incorporate the same as the driver approaches: triangular head shape to pull the center of gravity away from the clubface, and movable weights.

As with the driver, there are three weight ports in the head of the fairway wood. According to TaylorMade, up to 22 meters to change trajectory are possible through weight configurations.

The fairway woods will be available in 3 -, 5-7 and forests, right and left-handed, with an MSRP of $ 360 per club.
