Anger and Rage Addiction: How to break the cycle and return to Health

The cycle begins with an addiction is not feeling well. Their needs not being met, you may feel abused or neglected, whether past or present. You have tried to fix things in different ways, but nothing seems to work. You're just not getting what you want. You can not tell anyone, but you feel much anxiety and pain, most of the time. The anger just builds and builds. You may have some this physical pain, or feeling that you're going to explode.

And then it explodes.

Usually, when you explode, someone gets hurt. Some of his relieves stress, and possibly not even feeling well for a few moments while releasing, but not hard. The person or persons who may be painful to be the most want in the world - in any case, I do not like the results of its explosion. You swore he would never do, but you can not seem to stop. Feeling guilty and you may or may not be able to apologize. When nobody believes me apologize more. You might even think you were justified in your explosion, blaming someone else by how you felt.

Their needs are not yet satisfied. The problem is worse. But you got temporary relief from anger / rage version, so if something does not happen to break the cycle is likely to do it all again. This is addiction. You do not have to live like that.

CYCLE SWITCH

Fortunately, there are many different ways to break the cycle of anger / rage addiction.

1. Learning to satisfy their unmet needs. There is, sad child scared at all anger / rage addict, they know it or not. Once you begin to fulfill some of their own emotional needs, you will be easier content with what others can give, taking a lot of stress in relationships.

2. Identify old patterns of behavior and thinking faulty processes that you have been using to maintain your addiction and destructive behavior. You may need Anger Management Counseling or a Program Management of anger to help you with that.

3. To give a little relief from physiological distress may also help break the anger / rage addiction cycles. Exercise, a healthy diet, relaxation or meditation can be very useful in this field. Get enough rest is also essential for alleviating physiological distress.

4. Find healthy ways to release anger and rage can be extremely useful to break the addictive cycle. You can read the book by Dr. DeFoore or listen to their techniques anger management to learn more about anger and release healthy anger.

5. Experiencing physical release and relief healthy anger work can be an important breakthrough for some people who suffer from addiction to anger anger /. Feeling powerful, being strong and the use of physical aggression in a safe and nondestructive lets you know it's okay to be strong and take charge of their situation. And nobody has to get hurt in the process.
When anger becomes addictive

The powerful rush of adrenaline that often accompanies anger feels good. In fact, it gives a person greater physical strength temporarily while the adrenaline is released. After the release of anger, there is often a feeling of euphoria and general welfare. If There was a significant physical exertion during the expression of anger, can also be endorphins released into the bloodstream, creating an even greater feeling of pleasure. All this adds up to a point: you can get addicted to the explosive release of anger and rage.

It feels bad to store up feelings. Sometimes you get tense, irritable and restless. You may even develop physical pain of stress, and possibly develop stress-related diseases. The relief of tension experienced during aggressive behavior actually creates good feelings on a physical level, although it is possible that in a great emotional pain. That is the nature of addiction. When feelings pleasant are associated with unhealthy and destructive behavior, they become addicted to that behavior.

The addictive cycle helps to illustrate how the pattern of repression and the explosion takes place. The cycle begins when their needs for love, affection, support and security, are not children. This includes experiences of neglect, abandonment, rejection and the many types of direct abuse. Part of being born as a vulnerable child in an imperfect world means having experiences that are painful and frightening. One of the ways we can protect ourselves from further pain is through the use of anger.

If your parents were not educated about the health value of anger can be punished or rejected when you displayed emotion. Unfortunately, remains wounded in various ways, and continued many of their needs not being met. This causes an accumulation of anger and frustration, leading to a breaking point in a situation you feel is "safe" to release their anger. The problem is that they tend to feel more secure (and more angry) at home with their loved ones. This is also where we tend to find the straw "last" that sent "over the edge."

That is when the explosion occurs, followed by precipitation of power and energy. At this point the cycle can be verbal, emotional or physically abusive. This usually lead to an apology or an attempt to "compensate" the person or persons injured. Some people do not do this part, only to retreat to great pain and fault, and not say a word about what has happened. Some powerful denial and blocking can occur at this time if the person is unable to process what has actually happened.

When apology or compensation occurs, the victim (s) may or may not forgive the abuser. It really does not matter. If the shame goes unhealed, the Forgiveness will not be accepted. What matters is whether the person in the addictive cycle is responsible in the present, and is responsible for the outstanding issues from the past. If they do, that have broken the cycle. Otherwise, repeat the cycle and no more pain and suffering for all concerned. Fortunately, there are many effective ways to break the cycle of addiction, and therefore no one has to be a victim of his addiction.

When does effectively break the cycle of addiction to anger and rage, anger becomes healthy. Healthy anger is one of the most powerful resources you may have, and you can use positively to create the life of your dreams.
