The Cycles of Life - We go round and round in the Circle Game
In one of the great songs about the cycles of life, a song that captures the feelings of the moment, Joni Mitchell wrote and sang:
"And the seasons they go round and round
And the horses painted up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can not return can only look back
Where we come from
And round and round and round
In the circle game "
Are we caught in the carousel of time-experiencing fleeting moments of joy, suffering and some pain on the way exciting victory, a day of fishing for the next beat until finally that a walk last time, when the horse painted up and down for the final time?
Birth and Death?
It seems that we are born and die. In the meanwhile, there is only God or Universal Mind knows how long, some mystics say we choose our birth and death. Some Buddhists believe, if not solved the problems we are trapped in the karmic wheel of birth and death. Others say that death is an illusion, we are eternal beings. There are others who say that if death is an illusion, so is birth.
Are we born only to die? I think there's more to it than this uncomfortable thought. My meditation allowed me many ideas on the nature of existence and the existence of other worlds, other possibilities. Quantum physicists say that energy never dies, just rearrange or transformed. Madonna sings about being a "Material Girl" and is without certainly fun, but the truth is that we are energy. Even so, it can provide anything definite about what happens after you ride the final cycle.
The life cycles of Youth
Many people wish they were captured on a carousel rather than run the tape are enslaved. If only they could jump safely and live the life that resides in the recesses of his mind. Once during the days of his youth had dreams and fantasies thought would be their reality. They knew they were going to experience their desires, not realizing that other pressing commitments and relegate them to the most sublime unattainable. If only I could go to the time that sometimes lived in their dreams and fantasies and believes that these substances were going to manifest in their lives. But you can not look back-only back. Maybe if you could see through the eyes of a child again, the child they once were.
Although the child is caught in the carousel time does not look back with regret or live with the fear of the future. Now is all that matters. All children's fun, fears and learning experiences are occurring now.
On a hot summer day a child sits on the banks of the stream, lazily place your hope of a recovery will not worry about anything. At the same time a young person can be playing at home, fixing all her dolls, doll clothes, toy furniture, accessories, etc in his fantasy of a happy family. She did not see this as an event that takes place when I grow up "is happening now. This is a current event.
Do you remember the only time that the moment was important? Life was a series of moments, experienced and savored one at a time. The painted ponies keeps going up and down. The cycle becomes a treadmill

Some of their hopes and dreams were realized and have fond memories some of them, others seem as if they were empty desires-desires without substance or credibility. If only they had conceived their dreams and desires with wisdom.
Many of their dreams and desires have vanished, disappeared before they had the opportunity to be heard. Where were they? You cry, "Why leave me stuck in my suffering and despair? Is there a way to bring back to be rescued from a life that is less than what could be? "
Fettered a treadmill of Despair
A time may come in the life of a person when he or she discovers that they are living a life of illusions, "Looking through a glass darkly." Why, if life seems an endless belt running in pain, suffering and frustration? The individual believes that he is unable to jump and if I could, it lacks the energy and motivation.
Once an individual gives up his dreams, desires and fantasies, which renunciation of its power. The subsequent emptiness makes him look beyond himself to catch up. And what is it? Discover which is now controlled by the illusory power of others. He escapes in hours and hours of television-which quickly becomes his new master. Adopts the values of second-hand can not distinguish of the values that once held. He lets others do his thinking and providing him with his pseudo-philosophy. Finally, is permanently chained to the routine of his despair. At least, thinks he is. Can you ever wake up from their self-defeating nightmare?
The Rescue - Hiking the Highlands of the Glorious Cycle
Fortunately some do wake up and realize they have been sleepwalking or walking in the dark. With pleasure to discover that they do not give permanent its power-in fact they still possess it. Lies in what they are. Finally, seeing reality as it is. Her eyes glow and lifts your spirit.
Lower the tape-to once again come on the carousel and ride the horse painted. Yes, the horse still painted up and down, but they realize it is taking them to a glorious future, the future that so many Sometimes he dreamed and wished for his youth. They realize that the final cycle in this life is actually the beginning of a series of new cycles in a more glorious existence.
