So who sells stickers anyway?
Before being hired to sell screen printing in 1978, never really had a sense of what was a decal or the way it was printed. Here's a scenario you will see as often as a book signing of Rush Limbaugh in a Democratic National Convention: When Asked about his grandmother or a stranger interested, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" A child responds: "I want to be a vendor sticker!" No heart beats in the breast of a child. Do not just listen to one saying, "Brands are my desired vocation. I've known since before I could know!"
Such is the rarity then that is the creation of a vendor sticker ... How do we become what it is not desired by anyone looking business success?
Some of us can remember that a twenty something guy who came to the party gifts that carry their parents, not for adults, but for little boys and girls home. What could this adult gifts to wow and keep the attention of these people shortly after he was gone? This person brought with them the iconic images of the day: "Surf's Up" stickers, a sticker crusher frightful skulls and bones or the images found in the car of a winning NASCAR fast track. These children like to capture these images and slap them their bikes, lockers, bike helmets, skis and snowboards. Even the lords adult these children dizzying desire of some of these people work. How about a Mustang logo or "Not all who wander are lost" sticker? Or perhaps the most common and image refined bumper, "My son is an Honor Student" stickers for cars?
So some of us know someone who makes and sells stickers, do people like to boost the selling everything from child fascinated actually choose this vocation? I do not think even that led us to choose a profession that really has no respect. An example: I remember one day flying business travelers, dressed to the nine sitting next to a businessman also co-nines. He asked me the question that all employers ask each other on an airplane: "What do you do?" The seller decal proud I am, I respond (without embarrassment and with unbridled excitement), "I I sell stickers. "As the words left my lips disappointing to see the reaction from colleagues as he says (no doubt trying to deflate the ego more extended), "Is that a hobby?" Now I have to inform you of your disbelief and ignorance reply stating that the designs that decorate fine china you have at home are in fact stickers! Did I get my respect? Maybe not. But I'm going to sell my decals no connection, however.
It is interesting that more than one product can not be sent unless you have a sticker attached to not respect them. The absence of a non-5 cent sticker may close a production line. It is certainly respected, then!
Why do we stickers hock? It is in our blood! Screen printing inks, mixed with PVC, of course through our veins. We are hooked! We love to say to family members and strangers: "Look, XM Satellite Radio sticker there? So I did. "With our ego intact and profit margins dancing on the head, which go on sale in the sunset.
