What is a half Lifer?

What is a half Lifer?

Simply, we can conclude that one is someone Lifer half between the ages of, say, thirty-five sixty. Mid-life, however, is a mood as much as a physical age. As can be higher (or lower) and still considered to be half Lifer.

In general, many of their habits are set - you know what you like the drink, the type of vacation you enjoy, the clothes you wear and your hobbies, for example. These are not set in stone and may change with age but usually, you know who you are and know what you want.

Some lifers in mid-May have young families, as they have delayed motherhood while enjoying your youth. Others may have a young family with a second partner. At the other end of the spectrum of the family, some half lifers have seen their children leave home and this can lead to life changing decisions - a change of residence, the review of his career, taking early retirement, for example.

Mid-lifers may be caregivers for their elderly parents or may have experienced the trauma of their parents death.

Many lifers half spent their youth swearing never be a generation gap between themselves and their children - then, finding themselves wondering why their children listen to 'music as meaningless have strange hairstyles.

Some half lifers feel they have reached the top of the bell curve "and it's all downhill. These are the people who often experience a "midlife crisis of life" with all the negatives that this is for them and their family and friends.

This will be the future for some lifers half but need not be. As Henry Ford once famously said "If you think you can, or if you think you can not, you're right. "So the half-life may be a time of retrospection and the review and its conclusion may be that your best days are behind you. More positively, we can conclude that the experience and learning acquired in their younger years that you provide the springboard to greater things in second half of his life.

Life is always full of opportunities - the trick is recognizing them for what they are.

The half-life opportunities highlights all the positive aspects of the half, while also recognizing that life not everyone is in this happy place.
