Size 14 is fat?

If 6 out of 10 people are considered "plus size", then why fashion retailers have trained their to lower sizes?.

Why do we see new modes, with an upper limit of size 12?

Not all women are size zero, and many of us have a body type that no matter how much you diet, exercise and starve ourselves, would never be a size 2. If we assume a size 2 to look good in the latest fashion? This is very difficult to explain to a healthy teenager largest built when she is trying to fit in at school. What kind of message are we sending our youth? .. that the size 2 is the standard?. In the early 70s, which could not even find a size of 2 .. the smallest was a size around 6-8 where I live, and was considered very small.

Fashion designers, take notes here if the statistics are correct, and at least 60% of us are in size 14 and up support, then why not see more ads in magazines or billboards advertising or television commercials, which show that the size of the latest fashion?

In recent years there has been shopping the girl jump size "More" that are secreted away from the current stores, like a disease. It was not that many years ago that a size 12 and curvy hips were considered sexy. What happened? .. Twiggy was in the 60s which led to this hunger for beauty?

There is nothing wrong with a healthy girl and active, which happens to have a greatest generation, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with a size of 14. I went to buy a suit at Christmas, The dummy was wearing a size 4, and was told that my size 14 version was in the back of the store. I went back there almost ashamed, and yet I am healthy, active and fit. The seller was a size 2, and proud of it .. (She was saying all the sensible diet of 800 calories a day to get the size).

I think we all size 14 years or older should be proud of our size and while we make every effort to take care of our bodies and health, we must not let our self-esteem eroded by these ads skinny!

I've noticed a bit more online and offline stores that are taking the opportunity with its shops and livestock Fashionable, chic and trendy and up to 14 sizes, with smaller sizes, I applaud the designers, as some of these styles look great .... but I think the tag "plus size" is here to stay!.
