Mountain Bike Shoes - Tread the toughest terrain
Mountain bike shoes are specialized footwear. They are customized to the type of riding you plan to do, the model of your cycle, the land that will meet their needs and finally personalized. However, the basic criterion that makes a cycling shoe is determined by the pedal of the bicycle.
At first cycling shoes were strong hard leather soles with a metal or plastic or shoe plate strips fixed on him. The cleat had a slot that fitted into the pedal cycle, while the toe clip and strap worked to keep motorcycle grip on the pedals.
When the pedal automatic became the standard, the characteristics of the cycling shoes had to be upgraded accordingly. Therefore, shoes made cavities or recesses to accommodate smooth pedal cleats for automatic machines, for example, in the Shimano SPD (Shimano Pedaling Dynamics) and LOOK.
Special features of modern cycling shoes

3. Adaptable while in use
4. Characteristics or Velcro straps or belts even more complex instead of laces

Types of soles for cycling

This helps to negotiate the difficult terrain. These mountain specific cleats are smaller than those designed for road shoes (which in general have protruding studs and attached with three screws) and attaches to the shoe with two screws.

To know the quality of the shoe to plan to buy, check the following:
1. The firmness and grip of the sole: A stiff sole ensures better pedaling
2. What is it?: Premium brands come carbon soles
3. Breathability: You must ensure good air circulation and coolness
4. The total weight of the shoe: The lighter the better
5. Durability: It is a necessity to support the hard ground
6. Comfort: Your feet should be comfortable while driving
