Classic Car News: Rebuilding a legend
For those of us who feel the onset of aging process in starting a new life could be the remedy perfect. PistonHeads.com reported to the legendary original 1968 TVR Tuscan is to be resurrected "and given a new lease of life for this type of reactor career of Midlands-based specialist.
After the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the TVR Tuscan Retro career at the fair in March this year, this type of reactor asked to produce, reproduce or rather, a street version of the renowned classic car. Managing Director Mike revealed that lucky again, and we dare say somewhat improved version of Tuscany is to be called the "Titan" and launched in late August.
According HadNews.com, the quintessential car classic British could soon be blessed with the heart of a quintessential American classic, which means the Titan will be powered by a V8 "480bhp Chevrolet LS3, with five-speed manual transmission, PistonHeads.com reports.
There have been many stories about classic cars that have been found discarded in old barns, and unfortunately this spectacular TVR has a similar story. However, this story has a happy ending with this type of reactor in some way managing for the original molds for this particular model 1968, which has been sitting unused for decades in an old barn, and go ahead with plans for create a street-legal version.
CWR luck Mike believes that "there is a market for these retro-looking car performance, and trusts that will to consist of a package well-balanced to reflect the heritage and style of the original car while respecting and preserving the gap between the new version and the version original.
