The difference in Ebook Resell Rights to sell on Ebay

Selling eBooks on eBay is a good way to make a living working from home. Many eBook sellers buying from other sources, and then resale as often as they would like on eBay. But when purchasing eBooks for resale, the most important thing to look for is if you have not paid the resale rights along with the ebook. No resale rights, you can not make a profit reselling the eBooks.

Ebooks, and other forms of digital media, are often sold at a given level of rights attached. Some e-books are sold with rights only personal, meaning that once purchased, the ebook can only be used by the purchaser for personal reasons. These electronic books can not anywhere be resold for a profit, but usually can be redistributed without modifications. resale rights, however, give the buyer certain rights regarding the sale electronic book elsewhere.

There are four basic types of resale rights that may come with the purchase of an eBook: normal rights of participation, the master resale rights, private label rights and trademark rights. Each type offers the buyer of an electronic book certain level of rights for the way they sell the ebook after purchase:

Normal Resell Rights

Normal resell rights are participation rights that traditionally come packaged with ebooks. With normal resell rights, is allowed to sell the ebook as it is an unlimited number of times. Not allowed to modify the content of the electronic book, or the demand for labor as their own. Some additional restrictions may be applied such as where you can sell e-book, and the minimum and maximum price it can offer for.

Master Resale Rights

Master resale rights are the rights normal participation, but go a step further. With master resale rights, you can sell the ebook and the normal rights of resale to their customers. That means that, besides being allowed to sell the ebook as it is, your customers can sell the ebook as it is to other buyers. Your customers are still bound to the same limitations which are, however, if the original author has chosen to restrict certain uses.

Private Label Rights

label rights Private offer the greatest freedom of all with your purchase e-book. Not only can the benefit of the ebook, you have the right to modify, remove or add content e-book is. You can also claim the ebook as your own original work and replace the original author's name with his. More ebooks are not with private label rights, but these are the rights that apply generally to the authors commissioned to write e-books for customers to participate then the eBook to others. Whether or not you choose to offer their participation rights of buyers is entirely up to you.

Rights mark

trademark rights offer share the same rights that come standard with most books, but you can also replace the author's name as well. In a way, you can claim the work as their own for their buyers, but it may change, remove or add any other content of the ebook. This is a good option for sellers who do not want their buyers know that the pen of the ebook itself, but can not afford to commission a writer to write an e-book for them.
