Children use stickers to make gifts for babies!
Have you ever wished you could create unique gifts for those little baby sweet in your life? O monnogrammed personalized gifts are beautiful and memorable but expensive. If you're like me, I like the challenge of creating my own gifts, which are still beautiful and memorable but are more favorable to my portfolio! However, I realize that many people out there who say, "Yes, that's a good idea, but I have no artistic talent!" Do not worry ... This particular project requires only a little courage, a few hours of time and artistic abitlity NO.
This article will guide you the process of how you can create a personalized baby gift for your next baby that needs a bit of satisfaction "for the world" gift! It doing this project at once simple and professional looking is the appropriate use of children stickers. These labels give the appearance that you've spent hours tediously hand painted gift, when if fact, it only took minutes.
In If unfamiliar with stickers of children, and I am catching up with speed. Brands are a growing trend in the world of interior design and are little more than amazing! They are thin and flexible, but durable, vinyl stickers that are capable of being removed and repositioned several times. They leave no sticky residue ago and will not peel paint. Most people think of the use of children title = "Stick to the walls" stickers> for walls or furniture, but they really offer endless possibilities for decorating children living space, making art and gifts. Children come decals in all shapes, sizes and themes.
So let's get started! First, you have to buy your decals kids! In truth there are so many options and themes available. I suggest looking for a group or set of small stickers. For girls, there are fairies, flowers, butterflies, etc. For children, it can be interested in baseball, the ship, jungle animals, etc. Also, bear in mind that you can cut decals to fit the size of projects it is working. Now for the "Project"!
Step 1: Gather your supplies and make plans. You will need a wood plaque. These can be buy at your local craft store. I suggest a size bigger than 8 x 10, otherwise, you will begin to run out of the room to your decal. The rest of the supplies you need primer, acrylic paints, brushes, pencils, crayons and a paper plate. Pick your paint colors to coordinate with the colors their decal. I suggest only 1-3 different colors to avoid becoming too busy.
Step 2: First your plate. If the colors are going to paint plate are light, then go with a white primer. If the colors are darker, you'll save time by using a gray primer because it will need for many layers to get a real color.
Step 3: Paint your plate with the background color of your choice. I suggest 2-3 thin coats or until you get a color true and can not see the primer through the paint. Let the paint dry!
Step 4: I like to create a border on the plate, either with stripes or an edge scallops. The stripes are very easy to create. Just be sure to use a ruler to go straight. For a scalloped edge (it looks beautiful on a plate as a child), in his sketch scallops using a round object. Trace the upper half circle around the outer edge of your plate. Some advice, measure around your circle, so that you not run out of space at the end of the plate. Try different round objects around your house until you find one that works. I used the bottom of the bottles of paint and it worked to perfection.
Step 5: Paint the scalloped edge and the center of the plate - that is, if you are using a scalloped border. Once again, I suggest 2-3 thin layers paint or until you get a true color and can not see the primer through the paint. Now, let the paint dry!
Step 6: Create the monnogram or name. First, print the letters and the date of your computer. Choose a font you like and print the size you want. In order to copy it to your plate, rub chalk in the back of printed paper. Place the letters in chalk on your plate. Now, with a pen, the location on the printed letters and the date. When finished, will a chalk outline of the letters and the dates of the paintings. The good thing is, if you do not receive your letters or date focused on the first try, you can erase the chalk off and go to test # 2.
Step 7: Painting in your letters and date with a coordinating color. Use a fine tip brush for the lyrics! Do not worry, if you you put foot, some background color to keep handy and can fix their mistakes with a bit of that painting.
Step 8: Add your title = "stickers for kids"> stickers for children. Simply peel that went on, attach them to the dry plate and press down the edges! Because these children are removable stickers, you have no to worry about doing it right the first time. If it is off center, only the skin and reapply!
Let it all dry and cure for a few days that envelop and give birth to love!
