Breaking the Western saddle
Whether for pleasure riding or competition, there is nothing more important than having a suitable chair that fits both the horse and rider. We can compare saddles to clothing or accessory that is more important to install our shoes. The Tree:
The heart of the saddle is the tree. Today we see the trees made with different materials depending on use. By far the best tree to go is the "bull hide covered wood tree. Bars:

Swell / Fork:
The swell / fork is also called with bows. It gives shape and definition to the front of the chair. Gullet:
The Gullet is the part of the chair in the surf mount placed on the cross. You should be able to place four fingers between it and the horse. The design of the swell / fork, and the angle of the bars, help determine the width and height of the throat saddle. The saddle must clear the withers of the horse or the horse will become sore quickly.
Horn:
The horn can be high or low, thick or thin, and has a large cap or small horn. The angle used to place a speaker to a tree also varies. The horn is always determined by its intended use.
Cantle:
The tile is the part that swells from behind the seat of the chair. "High Back Chair" refers to the folder of tile and tile. Superior is a shingle-bound simply because it offers greater support for the runners back. When quick dismounts are necessary, a shingle allows greater flexibility.
