The City of Kitchener is located in southern Ontario. It is commonly together with Waterloo (Kitchener-Waterloo). However, each city is in fact is the municipality itself. Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge together are known as the "Tri-Cities."

It is also home to a successful OHL franchise - The Kitchener Rangers. The main table in the square is the Raffi Armenian Theatre, well known for its great acoustics. It is home to a wonderful series of events throughout the year. In recent Kitchener times has been cast in the shadow of younger brother Waterloo.
