The response Sport combines the perfect blend of performance with the utility rigid resistant to form the rigid ideal all-purpose trail. The response Sport is built around a framework that offers our best Fuerte and down pipes and heat-treated 6061 T-June. If a rigid solid and reliable all mountain bike is what you're after, select the disk brake equipped Sport Response.
Can be surprising to some, but there are several situations in which one is best for a rigid dual-suspension mountain bike, as they travel to the class, jumping ground, soft riding trails, or just cruising around the neighborhood. Enter the mountain bike Diamondback Response sport, which combines the perfect mix of performance with the utility stiff resistance. The Sport of response - which shares the same framework and several of the most expensive components of the Comp response - is equipped with a rigid aluminum frame All Mountain with a safe upper tube, a 120 mm Edge Spinner suspension fork, controls activation of eight speeds, Kenda 2.0 Klaw XT tires and a WTB Pure V Sport saddle. The Answer The Sport also features several of the base-model response, including an ISO-Flow Crank SRAM rings set with spare chain, Hayes mechanical disc brakes and double wall Weinmann rims.

The Diamondback Response Sport is a very good value in a rigid mountain bike as you'll find a design relatively high end of the frame, with midrange components. The modified design top tube is a design made to strengthen the higher end models diamond and similar to some specialized bicycles.
The only downside is that the shift lever and front clip are not the same quality as the rest of the pack. The pedals are well for the platform around the city and park trails, but you may want to upgrade them to mount a serious single track.
I combined this with a suspension seatpost top quality, which seems to be the optimal combination of lighter weight and control some softening of the hardest blows. The site of diamond and some retailers have a fuller description of that frame size is more appropriate for your height. The advantage of buying from Amazon is that you easily achieved XS, S or XL size frame instead of having to settle for medium or large in a local shop or sporting goods store box.
The bike comes mostly assembled, but the plan to spend a Saturday afternoon to restore complete successfully derailer travel limits and align the front caliper if you do not take a a local store for a professional tune up.

Cycling is very good for the money. Purchased for approximately a year in more than 500 and worth every penny. Frame is super strong, the components are definitely input level, but are very useful.
