I thought he was dead, but a drop of water that revived ....
I bought it in August 2008. I used it quite frequently for a few months and works with precision and consistency compared to the gas station air pumps several automated (that automatically add or remove air until the correct pressure is reached). Just two days ago, April 10, 2010, I tried to use it and could not make it work. Instead, continued to show 00.0. Almost threw it away. Today I had a hunch and carefully dropped a drop of water in the container. Behold, it worked! Probably because the restored proper seal between the tire and the meter.

Very precise and durable tire gauge
Recently I have new tires that were not exactly cheap, so I wanted to make sure I took care of them. I realized that I could get analog / digital not the correct tire pressure I wanted. This digital gauge tire pressure seems really accurate, within 0.5 PSI.
I have recently patched a tire, before leaving the store I checked my tire pressure. The guy who fixed approached and asked what I was doing. I told him that the tires are pretty new and kind of fools by the tire pressure. He said he set all tires to 40psi. I turned and checked and settled in anywhere from 38.5 to 39.5, but nothing was at 40psi.

An essential tool for properly maintaining your tires
A digital pressure gauge is very useful to maintain pressure correct tire. It has a bright digital display of tire pressure and keep it for several seconds, even after removing the valve tire. Pressure readings in 0.5 psi. I had one I've used for over three years. When I bought another car, I bought another indicator Accutire so I could have one in each vehicle.

Easy to use in everyway. A must have in the car. It's worth the cost and that some. Have you used a dozen times without problems.

Depends on the handle ...
The first time you use this indicator leaked a large amount of air before I was able to get a clear reading. The next day, after some experimentation, I figured that it worked much adjust better if only my hands.
Grip as I was originally held a hammer: the five fingers wrapped around the black rubber. As such, I kept leverage the tip of the nozzle at an angle, preventing a seal flush reason keeps air from escaping.
The solution: press your index finger in the back of the meter, back near the "E" - there is even a finger-shaped slot / Nick there! So when you are taking a reading, press with the index finger moderately hard. This gives you a better idea of the nozzle and allow you to apply more direct pressure for a better fit.
After using this grip, I was able to get more consistent readings. He still might lose a little air at times, but nowhere near as bad as I did in the beginning. It may seem pretty obvious just put your finger there, but not for me. There was an earlier version of this same caliber used for over 10 years. That model worked perfectly all the time, even with my old grip, until I lost it. In short, this is a suitable replacement. Hopefully this helps someone who can not seem to get the hang of things the first time.
