My two kids use Facebook to interact with friends around the world. More scary stories and more are coming out of the largest social networking sites. There is no age limit, no guarantee that you meet online are who they seem.
How should social networks spanning the world? A thought came to me the other day and can let me know your thoughts about this, but, like the way they have to apply for a job could not we ask them to verify that they are not of interest in the details in your boss at work and personal references from family members? I would be more than happy to provide this information to any person I have the intention to establish a business or personal relationship with online. Do you? Do you think this is an invasion of privacy? Does it seem cumbersome and hard work to find about someone? If you knew it was a question of life or death does not see the sense in identification? If you are a decent, honest person who would have nothing to hide Right?
Another thought came to mind: Social networks can register Internet Marshals can be volunteers or employees would be reviewed and scanning of inappropriate content sites, contacts and criminals. One fee or reward, an incentive may be paid to subscribers / members to report any suspicious activity.
You have the "Web of Trust" that allows users to convey their opinion / review of a website are interested in visiting. Users are happy doing this for free. Why can not do this on a social site? By which a person qualifies for information you have provided while registering Social Network.
What I do not understand is why people do not confirm the report or meeting with someone someone online. Did this fall in the zone of privacy? Or do not tell anyone area? This could not be when you're hanging your clothes out to dry anyway. All world can see its business. Facebook has been known not to delete the content and profile. I have however, found a series of YouTube videos very interesting, educational, informative and I love music. People with talent and musicians can promote themselves and perhaps sign up for bigger things. But this is also a risk, how do you know who is communicating is, indeed, who claims to be?
You Tube does not monitor the videos streamed. You Tube shows the most appropriate content, even when you are not looking. They also have the money why can not hire the people needed to detect and remove content that is not suitable for consultation in physics, especially for children. How about a regulation approved by the Government that only parents or guardians can register children? They pay a dollar of your credit card to confirm your name and address. All social networking sites should have no problem with this if they want to maintain its reputation and status of the line. But is there something more sinister going on? If we lose this form of communication that would mean we would have to return to the media / press, and most Sometimes you can not trust them, do not always tell the truth.
The serious side of this is that we are not protecting period. Terrorism is on the increase. Hundreds of videos of criminals who commit terrible acts and how to make homemade bombs. We are allowing these acts of crime. The authors and creators are given permission to manage their own content. As the companies are audited sites should not be audited by internal controls and quality assurance, creating thousands of jobs for the unemployed?
Another idea: could submit lists of offenders in the area or country and make it available to members / subscribers to your profile. It could be just a search engine show attachment names and aliases to see and report, if necessary.
Yearbook has a similar problem can be seen in the profile of someone, send inappropriate content and conversations in private. Will say no to deliver personal data and block you sending emails through the profile, but the chat feature does not have any protection. Apparently, high school children have developed this site but they look like adults to me. Women are as bad as men. Disgusting images sent to young boys. All in the name of fun. Men and women pretending to be something they are not. They put photos of others and imitate. Yearbook is the biggest scam in raising money for charity. There is no evidence that any money donated. They are promoting an adult IMVU sex site. A person who got it right "Very Innapropriate, for $ 5.00 you can buy one 18 years of bare patches and purchase items. Do not check date of birth when you buy this pass either. "We are being brainwashed into believing we can meet our soul mate, find friends sincere and are safe because they are kids at school after all.
Is not it bad enough that someone else may have your name, your identity, have a copy of your passport, credit card or bank account hack. The criminals will stop at nothing and do nothing to get what they want. We need to stop flying over our Rights and Freedom in the places mentioned, because I would like to ask you where your Rights Liberty or when they are kidnapped, beaten to death, sexually assaulted or terrorized. title = "My Space predators"> There are more than 90,000 predators on My Space.
