Super Joe 2-Bike Yakima trunk Rack Mount

This frame is solid and installed in my Civic Sedan easily. If you wanted to, could mount the rack without having to open the trunk. As far as trunk racks go, it's as good as any which means it has some inherent problems: belts should be tightened and loosened to put the grill in one you have gone out bikes pedals are attached as part radios, universal motor mounts are acceptable, but not a perfect fit. When a bike manufacturer corrects any of these problems will get 5 stars. I use this rack to carry two mountain bikes about 10 miles on a weekly basis. I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

Bicycle Car Carrier
The bicycle for a car is well designed, robust and easy to assemble. Within ten minutes after opening the box, was mounted in the car with two bicycles. After removing the bikes it takes less than one minute to remove the grille of the car and fits easily in the trunk. It only takes a minute to re-assemble the frame back into the car.
A word of caution, the carrier will not fit in many cars, a long list in the supplement of the address. Before buying, I suggest you get this list factory - call. It could save a lot of problems.

Ease of use was my concern.
Having a different brand of zip in the past it was difficult to mount and mount, it was apprehensive about getting a universal type mount this time, but Super Joe II was what I expected everything it would be. It was virtually pre-assembled when I have it and the instructions were very clear with lots of diagrams showing how to install it. The only drawback I see is that the frame itself does not have theft deterent. Anyone can simply loosen the straps and out of the trunk lid is not good if you live in a high theft. Luckily I did not.
