Installing Struts
Installation of new media in a car is easy, even for those who have no technical experience or automotive. However, it is a task that can be quite time for anyone who has not made this particular task before.
To start, loosen the nuts and support the vehicle on jack stands. Take the tire off and then remove the brake calipers. This part will be slightly different from one vehicle to another. Do not disconnect the brake line, since this is not absolutely necessary and will further complicate the task. Now, remove the rotor (the circular smooth metal disk that pills brake and then remove the center and bearing. In doing so, remember the order and placement of these parts. Next, separate the shaft and transverse axis and the nut that connects the tie rod to the knuckle. Now, remove the lower ball joint lower control arm so you can get to the nuts securing the cover plate. Remove the nuts and mounting bracket integer.
Now, just put the strut back in place of the old. Replace the cover plate and tighten the nuts that secure. Then put back ball joint in the lower control arm. Replace the nut securing the tie rod to the knuckle, and put back in a transverse position with the shaft. Then, put the bearing and shaft again position and slide the rotor into place. Place the clamp unit in position on top rotor.
Luckily, title = "How to Replace Brake Pads"> brake pads are in place, as from time to time leave when the clamp is removed from the rotor. If they do drop out, you have to compress the clip in its position of power to obtain, replace the rotor. After the gripper is aligned properly on the rotor, simply put the new tire. Lightly tighten the nuts, lower the car jack and torque the nuts properly.
