Search Engine Optimization, a tandem approach
The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary has five definitions for the word tandem. Used as an adjective, it means tandem
"1: it consists of things or having parts arranged one behind the other
2: working or occurring in relation to each other "
If you are marketing your business on the Internet that can occur with this challenge and dilemma: the popularity of the Internet with major search engines and popularity with potential customers do not necessarily coincide. In other words, search engines and Google in particular, the sites of the classification in terms of content quality and popularity of links to other relevant sites. People rank sites based on their immediate needs or preferences.
Consider this: is the site on a list on page number one in Google always the best option for what you're looking for? Of course not. Could there be another place among the ten million sites List that would lead to a better product or service? Of course. Are you going to search through tens of millions of sites to find out? No way. It's like the old philosophy Question: If a tree falls in the forest and no one to hear it fall, did a sound is made when the tree fell? If you can not find the best place that could well not exist.
In three previous articles: 1) Search Engine Optimization for beginners, 2) Search Engine Optimization-The Long Road to Success Internet, and 3) Web Site Redesign, a dangerous way this author describes the steep learning curve has to try to understand the ever-changing objective optimization called search engine to your website. The purpose of this article is to describe a tandem approach to the search engine optimization and why this technique may be useful to achieve the twin objective of the popularity of your site with search engines and popularity with potential customers.
Every day the Internet becomes increasingly complex and sophisticated. The things we take for granted today, such as Internet radio, movie trailers, Google Earth, social networking, dating, multiplayer video games, YouTube, everything could be imagined just five years ago. People like images and sounds that move large Internet. It follows that if your site has some of these types of features most people would like your website.
Today search engines do not see the dynamic content on the Internet. It's like a movie that is visible and invisible to visitors to the search engines. It is this dichotomy that inspired a joint approach to search optimization engine. A site can have a normal static section (or version), where nothing moves and a dynamic section where many things are moving to attract attention visitor to the product or service. The two approaches can be combined into one site, but can be extremely annoying to have things moving if this bothers your potential customer, and very boring if your client prefers striking images with content. It is a difficult decision to settle on a combined static and dynamic site, or a tandem approach. You can give your visitors an option with the tandem approach.
In 1892 Harry Dacre wrote a song called Daisy, Daisy, most people know him as a bicycle built for two. Here are the lyrics:
There is a flower within my heart,
Daisy, Daisy!
Planted one days looking for a dart
Planted by Daisy Bell!
If she loves me or loves me not,
Sometimes it's hard to say;

The end result: Harry Dacre could hardly have imagined the Internet or search engine optimization issues, but had the same idea: a tandem approach is a good way to go.
