Want to customize your bicycle tires? Go For It!
Unless a major accident or bicycle accident most frequent of all to enter the garage with a bike on your car roof rack of his bicycle tire, probably going to last as long as you can stand riding the bike forever. In general, aluminum rims are light, strong and rarely are the source of the problem on a bicycle, even in the most arduous conditions of use.
In fact, most cyclists probably never give a thought to the rim of your bike. The circular band of metal that holds the bike tire and connects to the wheel hub via spokes is easy to overlook. Unlike lightning, a bicycle tire almost never breaks. Unlike the center, which rarely causes problems. Unlike tires, never goes flat or explodes. serious runners are a luxury bicycle wheels beautiful, full of the same flashy advertisements covering colorful clothes usually, but most pilots do not really need them. Even the most elegant of the tires are flat, wide, presumably, aerodynamic rims you'll see on the wheels of the professional certainly not all that much better. They are, however, more striking, and the world of cycling, that apparently counts for something, maybe for intimidation.
Need to know anything special tires on your bike? Not really. Most bicycles come with rims appropriate to their overall quality. You can spend so much money as you want in a tire-like everything else associated with the sport of cycling, but what comes standard on a bike is probably sufficient. Customizing will bring you the finest wheels rims, maybe lighter rims, probably stronger rims, but research on what constitutes the best weight tire strength and shape is still inconclusive, and since this feature causes so few problems for the recreational rider, you can leave this issue to the mechanic providing professional services in the bike world class runners. When they have solved the problem, you'll know about it!
Meanwhile, if the tires are aluminum for bikes, most are today (steel rims being heavy, carbon rims being expensive), very little you have to do for them. As with all bicycle parts, tires must be kept clean of dirt and corrosive oils, wiped after long walks powder and examined after any accident. Otherwise, do what most riders have always done: forget your bicycle tires. It may not be able to ride a bike without them, but I really can not walk bike better for thinking about this vital but happily innocuous part.
