Bicycle Safety

It is important to good bicycle safety and helmet, checking the breaks, so that the tires are properly inflated and children do not travel without adult supervision. These tips can help your child and you have a safe and healthy spring. Safe Kids provides training for parents and children learn how to be safe when riding their bicycles.
Poison Prevention
Poisoning with household chemicals is always a common threat in the home. SAFE KIDS also provides information on the storage of household chemicals and medicines out of reach of children. There are over a million calls each year to poison control centers nationwide. By learning how to safely store your household items and medicines, can reduce risk of a child accidentally being poisoned.
Home Safety
SAFE KIDS offers a Risk Watch Program which was developed by the National Fire Protection Agency to help children and their families learn the skills and knowledge they need to make your home a safe place. Address security areas such as motor vehicles, fire and burn prevention, choking / strangulation prevention, poison, falls prevention, firearms safety, bicycles, pedestrians and water safety as well.
Other Security Services
In addition to safety bicycle, poison prevention, car seat and the withdrawal of products, which provide services such as inspections of playground safety.
