Bike Safety for Kids - Riding Co-Pilot Bikes
Often children want to start riding a bike long before they are road ready. After all, if they see you enjoying the activity so much, the more they will want to have a bike of their own and go on longer rides with you. However, for many parents, a big concern is the safety of their children when riding a bike. By riding tandem with your child, you’ll save yourself a lot of stress and potential injury to your kids. The co-pilot bike also allows kids to ride at their own level, they aren’t forced to sit up higher than is comfortable for them.
Of course to promote more safety in riding these bikes you and your child should wear complete protective gear. This includes a helmet and pads or gloves to keep your head and body protected from any injury. You should also ensure that your bike is in good condition before you leave. By taking good care of your bike and doing a quick check before heading out on the road, you can save potential injuries, as well.
