Even when you sit down to really dive in the game you'll see that Dirt 2 moves at a rapid pace - which is good, preferring to spend more time at the races in the menus - but also not met a whole lot of weight to any sprint on his own.

There is no scenario glorious race to the top, each event feels like a separate experience, but it's fun to jump and play at leisure. The cars can be run in automatic or manual transmission, and learn to use the handbrake to start the drift is an add fun and really feel the drift charge DS life. As a minor complaint, car collision in the game is a little strange.
Operation on other vehicles in the direction you bounce hits you, which can cause quite unexpected collisions and spin-out if not careful when passing. It can be annoying, but it's pretty rare that actually gets in the way of a career competitive.
Upgrading and unlocking cars is also quite simple, but at least gives you a reason to return and complete race ended in a greater challenge. It's as simple as making money enough to buy your car and Updates - Board, the body's resistance, speed, wheels, etc - but also gives the game some decent legs too.
I'm not on large vehicles, heavy racing games - give me a Lancer EVO any day Dirt 2 - but when there I keep plenty of money buying, upgrading, and at least a few runs around the track.

In the customization front Dirt 2 is a highly anticipated experience on DS, at least if you followed the other options Firebrand careers.
