Swagman XC Cross-Country 2-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (2-Inch Receiver)
Didn't get exactly what I ordered.
I ordered the Swagman XC Cross-Country 2-Bike Hitch Mount Rack w/2" Receiver but received the 1-1/4" receiver with a plastic adapter to increase the insert to 2".
The 1-1/4" version has a curve on its way to the hitch which raised the bikes up about 4" higher than the receiver height unlike the straight bar on the 2" version.
This would have been OK if i carried bikes on the back of the vehicle but I needed the bikes on the front of my pickup because I pull a 5th wheel trailer behind. Because the bikes now stick up so high I have to remove the bike seats to clear my view. Bought a real steel 1-1/4" to 2" adapter and drilled it for a locking pin.

Great Bike Rack
Very Happy With the quality, I had to make a few changes to the bike rack to keep people from walking off with the bikes. The changes were simple and well worth the time. The bike rack was very stable on long trips and best of all the bikes don't touch each other. I would recommend this rack to anyone. The only thing I can say negative about this product is that like another review I read, someone with a adjustable wrench and some time could walk off with your bikes. But this is an easy fix. Worth the money!

Does not fit SUVs
I bought the Swagann XC for use on a 2008 Jeep Patriot. But their receiver bar is too short to allow room for a bicycle to be positioned in the location closest to the vehicle. As a result only one bicycle can be carried in the outer location. I called Swagman customer service and all they had to say was tough luck. As a result, to carry two bicycles I will have to go to Northern Tool and spend another $40 for a receiver extension.

This is not the best rack on the market, but is well worth the price. I have used it many times for long and short trips, and it attaches in minutes, easily and solidly.

I bought this to mount on back of travel trailer it held 2 mountain bikes and is a very sturdy rack I will now be using it for 2 elec bikes which are heavier than mountain bikes but i think it will work fine goofed when i ordered should have bought 2 inch receiver its more common I had to weld adapter to rack It is a good rack would recommend it

Great rack
I bought this bike for my 2 mountain bikes and it has exceeded my expectations. It is sturdy and mounting the bikes takes seconds. I have owned strap down racks in the past, and I got tired of strapping down the bikes and either removing the tires or bungee cording them prevent spinning while driving. The Swagman prevents all of that. I also like how it folds down to allow my Rav 4 door to open. It shipped quickly with no issues.

Great value!!
I bought this bike rack for my fiance for Christmas and had to research and make a decision without his input. I was nervous I would choose the wrong thing but he seems to really love this one. At first he was a little wary of the fact that the bike's wheels rest on the bottom of the rack, but then after the first use he realized it was helpful because it keeps them from spinning while driving. It folds up to be very small and fits easily in a closet when not in use. He is very happy with this rack!
