How to implement VoIP to get cheap international phone calls
If you have heard of VoIP, or Voice over IP, will have some idea that it is a way to make cheap phone calls international calls or free international calls via the Internet. But if you've looked into it, it can be a little confusing. So what exactly you need to do to implement VoIP at home or at work?
Most of us are looking at ways easy to reduce costs and budgets, whether at work or at home. One of the most painful ways to save money is to look at their phone bills, especially if you call abroad. If you are looking for cheap international calls, international calls and even free, you may have come across VoIP: new technology that allows you to make cheap phone calls over your existing broadband connection.
If you want to deploy VoIP, the main problem to consider is how much flexibility you want. As a general rule, the more flexibility you want, the more you pay.
Not much flexibility: PC-PC.
For free international calls, and do not mind a few limitations, consider a VoIP provider that offers free PC to PC international calls. To implement this VoIP Thus, you and the caller must have the following:
• a desktop or notebook computer each;
• A broadband connection each;
• a headset / microphone / speaker (these may be part of your computer) each;
• Individual accounts compatible VoIP providers that allows PC to PC calls, like Skype or MSN.
In addition to these limitations tuning, there are also restrictions on how to use the service:
• both need to sit at their computers in order to make or receive a PC to PC voice calls over IP, which usually means agreeing on a date and time of the call;
• Calls must be PC to PC, ie you can not just pick up your phone and dial;
• If you use this to make calls to landlines any another or mobile, is billed per minute;
• you will probably find the sound quality is not as good as that of a conventional telephone line or mobile phone.
Lots of flexibility: from phone to phone.
If you like the sound of VoIP, but are unwilling to bear the above restrictions, it is worth considering a completely different, much more flexible implementation of VoIP and make cheap international calls. Using VoIP for calls from phone to phone is basically the same as using a normal phone.
First, it is only you who needs to get up with the following:
• a computer or laptop;
• a broadband connection;
• a regular phone;
• an account with a VoIP provider that allows such calls;
In terms of how to use this service from phone to phone VoIP is more or less than what I've always been accustomed.
• You can pick up your normal phone line;
• You can dial any number, not only to other VoIP phones;
• Get unlimited calls to all landlines and mobile appears on your particular calling plan;
• Does not need a hearing aid;
• You do not have to be on the team;
• the equipment need not even be on;
• people who called does not need a computer, broadband or VoIP account type;
• the call quality is so good that not even realize that you are using a mobile phone broadband.
As flexibility: phone to phone and PC to PC
You can, of course, combine these two ways of implementing VoIP and tailor-make a system that is perfect for you. It depends on your own needs and calling habits.
Let's say you have a family member often speaks in France, but most of his friends live in the U.S.. In this case, it may make sense for both you and the person in France to take the time and trouble to create a free PC-to-PC VoIP service, and agree on a time and day to talk to each other. Then you can also sign up for one of the VoIP phone to phone and choose a plan that offers unlimited calls anytime from the United Kingdom, for example, mobile phones and the United States and Canada, for a small monthly flat fee.
Once you have decided how you want the flexibility, the next step is to go ahead and register with an appropriate VoIP provider. However you implement VoIP, you can be sure of one thing - you'll save money, regardless of the system you use.
