Mountain Bike Tires

The importance of mountain bike tires
Bike tires, unlike car tires, lose pressure on a daily basis, so its pressure should be checked daily and refloat when necessary.
A few days ago, I was happy driving along the road, heading home from a run to a bookstore. A passing motorist honked his horn and then pointed me to my car as if it were something bad. I nodded and waved and slowed down, and it went away. However, my car was behaving as it always had ... there is no "pull" or rough ride for indicate that it had a flat tire. So, since I was only ten minutes from the house I kept driving - albeit more slowly.
My mind is what is, as soon as I entered the driveway, I completely forgot why he had been driving slowly over the last ten minutes, and just entered the house.
The next day I got into the car and had driven out of my apartment to the parking lot access road to the main street before remembering that there was something wrong with supposedly one of the tires. So I went back to the parking lot, got out and looked at my tires. The rear the left was as smooth as a table.
I could not have driven home with her, like that - surely would have known how the car. So yesterday tire should simply have been low, and followed a short time during the night.
My father, who had witnessed my return, asked me if I did not check tires before they got behind the wheel each time, and confessed that I did not. I've been driving for years and years and never had a puncture before, so why Why bother?
But I learned my lesson from that little incident, and now I take a few seconds and check the tires before leaving.
And this little story brings me to the point of this essay, which is that before you get on your bike - there are several things you should check to make sure you have a safe trip. In fact, despite my lack of attention to the tires on my car, I have always had and always check the tire pressure bicycle before out on a ride. The more because I had a couple of punctures on the bike during the five years I've owned.
Tyre pressure is important for cars, because if it blows a tire while the car is traveling at high speed that is a heavy piece of machinery that is out of control. But it is equally important for cyclists, because since you have to use your own muscle power over the bike, flat tires affect your journey from the beginning. And if you away from home when the tire gives the spirit, you might run a long way home.
There is no difficulty in knowing how many pounds of pressure should be placed on the tires of his bike - the manufacturer makes those specifications on the side of each tire. Get yourself a pressure gauge and use whenever inflate your tires. However, even if you do not want to exceed the pounds per square inch than recommended, there are reasons why there are sometimes willing to use less.
With a tire inflated to the correct pressure, your trip will be as smooth as the quality of its frame permits. If tires are inflated sufficiently increases the likelihood of getting a flat tire, but more importantly makes it harder to pedal. Too high pressure strain the tire itself, not to mention the trip takes too bumpy for comfort.
Bike tires lose their pressure on a regular basis, so before embarking on their journey, always press both front and rear tires to ensure they are difficult. Mountain bikers like their tires "mushi" that other cyclists, and if this applies to you just familiar with what the tire pressure for you see and feel.
