I bought this guitar yesterday and I must say that is incredible ... I have an Ibanez RG220 and Fender Strato ... all are fine, but Gibson Les Paul Studio is the best of them .. high sound quality very light and very comfortable to play. The best part is this: Your versitality. You can play any music with him and he sounded great. Acoustic guitar has a large, which increases to maintain and is very clean and warm sound. When I bought mine came with a Gig Bag ... I'd rather have a hard case cover, but it is good, so that the end is a great product.

Excellent guitar
I bought this guitar yesterday and I that is incredible ... I have a Fender Strato and an Ibanez RG220 ... they are all good, but the Gibson Les Paul Studio the best of them .. great sound, very light and very comfortable to play. Best of all: Your versitality. You can play any music with him and will sound great. The guitar has great acoustics, which sustain and improve its sound is very clean and warm. When I bought mine came with a Gig Bag ... I would rather tough, but the carry is good, so which ultimately is a great product.

Beautiful and Versatile - Great sound at a great price
I play mainly blues rock (a little jazz, not metal) and was looking to buy an electric guitar second, and went to my local guitar shop to test this. I was not particularly looking for a Les Paul, but after trying a few other guitars (some of Ibanez Joe Satriani) I saw this around and was intrigued by the appearance of natural wood. The look is a matter of taste - I've seen people note as something negative or a positive. You have to try and see for yourself. Personally, I think it looks very cool and classy. Both my mother and my wife thought he looked good too, but as I said, is a question of taste.
Anyway, I picked it up and the first thing I noticed is that it is much lighter than the standard Les Paul. I liked this, because I tend to find a little too heavy for my taste. I connected to a VOX AC 15 tube amp and proceeded to sit there for over an hour playing. The guitar has great sound and great variety of sounds, that achieved with good quality pills BurstBucker Gibson. I love the sound of this guitar when playing through the VOX - may be a more gentle silky, fat and heavy, or bright, depending on how you adjust your settings. Me three switch positions (rhythm, mixed, and lead) to be useful. The good thing is that others who have four knobs - volume two by two tones (one for each humbucker) - You can set up completely separately and then use the switch to go from (for example) a sound volume of sound slowly than high lead volume by pressing the switch. This is fine. My electric control not only volume, so I can not do that.
After browsing the web for comments on this guitar (which are overwhelmingly positive), the only negative comment I saw (except for those who do not like the look of natural wood, which is a matter of taste) had to do with a possible quality control of poor quality in Gibson. One reviewer said he tried nine of these guitars and each is created differently. Knowing this, I said I did both of the two guitars that were in the store. I watched carefully, and both seemed very similar setup, and both played very well to the right of the box. The action was really low, which made to play very well, is very playable, and I felt in my big hands.
Basically, the sound is classic - good for blues, jazz, rock, blues and hard rock, but probably not metal (not sure - do not play so I do not know). Despite being a little lighter than the standard Les Paul, this guitar has great sustain as other Les Paul. If you are interested in a Les Paul guitar, this is a great choice for the category of less than $ 1K. If you can afford more expensive models, and then go for it, but this in no way feel like "Paul cheapened a" poor man Les. It has a solid construction and good quality components.
The only possible place where others could have cut the corners of the components is the tuner, which can not be as great, but you can buy better set of $ 60 and change out. I'm playing mine for a while to see how they go, and if not good, I will change. If so, that would be a very small error what is a really great guitar and an unbeatable price. It also comes with a hard case (this could change soon, not sure), worth about $ 150, making the price even better. If you are buying into this category, definitely check one out. 15 VOX decided to take too much and are playing very well together!

Incredible guitar - Great Value
I played guitar on and off since my teens. As a fan of 60 years of rock, especially Jimmy Page, I've always wanted a Les Paul. Wanted to go further on guitar this year, and began to search the Epiphone Les Paul models until I found this for less money.
The guitar lacks some of the luxuries of a normal Gibson LP, but not sacrificing quality or the classic LP feel and sound. A nice, solid mahogany body provides full sound and sustain for LP day (ok. .. maybe just a day or so!). The 50's style neck feels very good, and with a polished or two in the neck becomes too fast.
The cherry, chrome and black finish is very strong and gives the album a unique look. As with the neck, the body feels a bit dry / rough time of delivery, but quick polish or two makes all.
My last guitar Ibanez was 80 (in the 80s). I still remember the feeling that the guitar, and I impressed with the feel of the Les Paul. It is a heavier guitar sound that just "feels" right for me when I'm standing or sitting. A wide range of sounds available 3-way switch and individual volume collection / tone controls.
I might be a little biased, since it has been almost a dream 20 years for me, but if you are looking for s Les Paul as a first guitar or with a limited budget, this is the way forward.
I have only one complaint - The ropes were cut quite short - sometimes just a single wind in the tuner post - and did not keep tune very well. Since then I replaced the strings and I'm not experiencing a problem with the pitch.

Great guitar!
So I've been playing guitar for a while now and I could not be happier with this ax. I had to adjust the truss rod, but everything went well from there. I like the feel of the fretboard and the pickups are AMAZING. I recommend this product.

For my money. Volume 1, 1 tone pot. HSH configuration, 5-way selection and a Floyd Rose or similar bridge .... Jumbo frets ... Rock.
But ... If you are really looking fer a Gibson, and do not have the big 2.5 or 3 to plunk down sa Les Paul Standard or Custom. This will to do - fine JIST.
