Be the best friend of the brakes!
Owning and driving a car is really impressive, but keeping the car is another story. Since the maintenance and repair car can be expensive if the damage is severe. But there are ways to minimize the cost of damages where it is expected that some degree. And one aspect most important car care is the maintenance of the brake system. A poorly maintained car brakes could be the cause of a dangerous shock, which leads to premature death.
Here's how you can be the best friend of the brakes -
1. Always review the major car components, especially the brakes.
Before going on vacation, running errands, attending business meetings, or simply going for a walk around the city, we must make it a habit to check the essential parts of cars that can be the source of any accident irreversible the braking system in particular.
2. Be sensitive to any unusual noise, noise or feel you might notice while driving.
Be aware something that could be happening while driving is very useful for early detection of malfunctions in automotive components, this is called "maintenance preventive ". This will help to reduce the magnitude of the damage.
These are the possible observations:
• An irregular feel of your brake pedal suggests that it is time for a replacement brake pedal.
• An overwhelming sound or feel during braking is also for replacement brake pedal.
• The car travel very far before coming to a stop, this means that the brakes need adjustment or brake linings must be replaced.
• Pressing the brake pedal up and down stop, this suggests that the front brake rotors need to be replaced.
• The vehicle pulls to one side when braking, hit a clip causes of the problem and needs to be checked.
• The brakes squeal when stopping rather short, squealing occurs when the brake linings are worn out or needs replacement.
• The car bounces up and down to stop a short distance, may need to be shock absorbers replaced.
3. Have damaged the brakes repaired immediately.
How to Repair Auto Brake:

• brake rotors - should be uniform and smooth
• brake caliper
B. Materials needed for repair

• Brake fat
• Spray brake clean
• Caliper
• C-clamp (or Vise-Grip springs)
• Clean towel

• Rotor
• Tire iron
• Wrench
C. Follow these steps -
1. Find a suitable location for the repair, which is far from the public and traffic. Use of iron tire, loosen the nuts on all wheels. Place the jack under the car and lift the car. Place the lowest auto-making support positions during repair.
2. Remove the wheels and car nuts. Next is to get rid of the two clamp screws with the wrench. Clamp screws are on the side of the clamp, closest to the structure of the car.
3. Length of the rotor wheel bolts. The rotor can easily be removed if there is no link with the oxide steering knuckle, the first thing to remove rust with a hammer.
4. Remove the brake lining with a key clip. Place drip tray under the brake lining up spilled liquids. Clean the wheel bolts rust with a wire brush.
5. Place the brake lining in the new pad, placing it on the inlet nozzle located near the lower caliber bolt. Tighten the brake linings with a wrench and slide the brake pads on the walls of the new pad. Check brake pads when placed facing each other and the curve should reflect the curve of the shoe, the installation is successful then.
6. Prepare the rotor and spray it with brake cleaner. Finish cleaning rotor with a clean towel drying. Glide rotor over the wheel bolts, ensuring that the rotor hat part (convex spot in the center) faces outward.
7. Install the new caliper with new brake pads (see step 5) back the rotor. Using a wrench, tighten the clamp.
8. Put the rear wheels of the wheel bolts and tighten the nuts. Use the lifting takes to lift the car and take the cat off the car to the ground. Lock nuts with the tire iron.
9. Test the brake by pressing the brake pedal three times and keeps pressed, the third depression. Release the brake pedal hold after ten seconds.
10. Open the hood of the car to locate the master cylinder a brake fluid filling.
Delaying the repair is not a wise decision. Always remember the famous quote, "a pound of prevention is worth a pound of cure. "So, ever, you and your commitment to the security of your loved ones!
