Best tourist spot on the planet is probably New York City

The best tourist hot spot on the planet is probably the city of New York, after all the Big Apple is the call of the Capital of The World. So naturally, millions of visitors flood the city each year and, in turn, the city strives to meet their needs and vision. The top ten most visited sites in the city of New York are the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, Ellis Island Museum of Immigration, Staten Island Ferry, American Museum of Natural History, Central Park, Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.

The Empire State Building located at 1453 Avenue fifth measures feet and is the tallest building in all New York City. The building has 102 stories, but this should not intimidate one, for a lot of lifts are available for sightseeing much easier. On average about 15,000 people visit the building per day, so it is obvious that this is one of the most popular sites to visit. Probably one of the best things about this structure has to offer is that once up in the observatory building, located on the floor 82, you can look down and see the city as a whole. Visit the Empire State Building is to achieve relatively adult admission cheap for $ 15.50, young people 12-17 years old for $ 14.50, children 6-11 $ 10.50 and the younger someone enters free. A helpful tip to save time waiting in line for tickets is that you can buy admission tickets online and print them yourself.

Probably the most popular icon of the city of New York is the Statue of Liberty. This may be due, but represents what this country is about freedom. Following Empire State Building the majority of tourists visit the Statue of Liberty. To get to the Statue of Liberty, who lives on Liberty Island, take a ferry from either Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey or Battery Park in New York. If you plan to visit Liberty Island, be aware that a visit on average is about three hours, if you take a tour. The island offers plenty of area for picnics and small family reunions and even a Junior Ranger program for children. The entire observatory the road at the top of the statue is closed to the public for security reasons. Admission to Liberty Island and all it has to offer is quite cheap. Adults pay $ 11.50 for seniors $ 9.50, children $ 4.50 and children under 3 years of age gain free entry. Liberty Island opens at 8:30 am and the last ferry leaves the dock at 6:30 pm.

Admission to Grand Central Station is completely free, which may be one of the best bargains when traveling from New York. Grand Central is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, at 42nd Street and Park Avenue. The terminal offers more than just the railway. The walls and ceilings Cathedral style with rich colors of blue and green. Grand Central Station has a large number of shops, boutiques, florists, restaurants and even art galleries. The channel built in 1913 is full of secrets. On top of the structure is Campbell's apartment, a luxury retreat for the 1930s by billionaire John W. Campbell. When you visit keep your eyes peeled for anything unusual in any other season. Rockefeller Center, another destination entirely free located in the Big Apple. Rockefeller Center consists of everything between 47th and 50th Streets and 4th and fifth avenue. NBC headquarters are located in the premise and programs like The Today Show and Saturday Night Live is broadcast from there. On top of the GE building is the famous Rainbow Room, the star of which is silver and gold room, by a slowly rotating dance floor. The Rockefeller Center is the more popular during the Christmas holiday season. The giant tree is mounted in the center of the square each year overlooking the ice rink. To skate you can bring your own equipment or rent in the premise. The world-famed Radio City Music Hall is another part of Rockefeller Center and there are almost endless number of shops surrounding areas, making it one of the memorable places to visit in New York.

The American Museum of Natural History is at Central Park West at West 79th Street. This is the sixth most visited site in New York. Natural History Museum is the perfect place for anyone's thirst for knowledge. The exhibits cover everything from the earliest times to the present. The museum houses the Hall of Biodiversity, a visual representation of the field of life on Earth and why you need be protected. Admission to the museum is $ 12.00 for adults, $ 7.00 for children and $ 9.00 for seniors and students. Museum admission, plus the Hall of Space Rose Center is $ 21.00 for adults, $ 15.50 for students and seniors and $ 12.50 for children. This museum has the best shows you'll find on the web because when the president of K. Morris Museum Jessup took his place in 1881, led the museum in an age of exploration, sending expeditions to every continent globe.

Central Park is comprised of over 800 acres of parkland. Do not expect to cover all the land, but there are a lot of crucial points tourists must visit. The four corners of Central Park are 59th Street to South 110th Street in North, Central Park West, in the West and 5th Avenue in the east. There are a number of tours that can be performed Central Park Bicycle Tour and the Central Park Conservancy Guided tours are free and tours that cover well in the middle, south or north park. Central Park has two restaurants in its premise and an almost infinite number of concession is located along the park trails. Some things to do while in the central park, except walk and enjoy its beauty is to take a rowboat or gondola ride on the lake, visit the Central Park Zoo, rent a bike or skates and attend a Philharmonic concert in the park either, the Metropolitan Opera in the Park or Central Park Summerstage. A whole day or even a week could be spent visiting all the park has to offer, but the above are the most popular attractions.

New York City has attracted many more than those mentioned above. These are the ten most visited and popular because of its accessibility and relatively good deals. If you ever decide to visit New York for the first time these are the places go. It covers the basics of what New York represents and is all about and do not leave a good impression and memorable events in your mind.
