Western saddle types
If you are a Western rider yourself or simply interested in the variety of riding out there, you will find that there is a Western saddle designed for mounting any activity or discipline. Check out some of the varieties of Western saddles out there, and remember that there are many more that you can find them too!
A trail or pleasure saddle is a western saddle is a saddle designed mostly for comfort for long walks. It is lighter than a work chair, and there are many variations on it. It tends to have a fork and a horn than thinner, and often account with a padded seat.
Barrel Racing saddles are built for speed, and often are even lighter than the pleasure saddles. They are meant to anchor the rider to his horse through all sorts of twists and turns, and often see them at sports events. They tend to feature a horn high and thin and a deep seat for stability
