What makes them different Homes Nevada?
If you have lived in several states, like me, you probably have some appreciation for the differences between them. While the development of Nevada house appears to be similar to other houses built in the Southwest, are radically different from those built in the northeast.
NO BASEMENTS
Since Nevada does not deal with frost and a freeze on the ground that can break down the foundations, basements are rare. There are houses built with basements completed, but are rare.
ELEVATION / ALTITUDE
Most homes built in Nevada are one two story homes. Since the development of the state is relatively new compared to East Coast cities, and builders and buyers had a preference vertical not life more vertical dispersion in Nevada accumulation. While new high-rise condos are starting to change the mix, the figures remain still largely in favor of one and two story homes.
APARTMENT STRUCTURES
Most homes in Nevada are separate households. While there are some developments townhouses and row house type, are few in number. Clearly, the preference has been to have a separate house with a courtyard private. While some of the houses have been built in the southwestern part of the city are narrow and the length of a neighbor's arm, are relatively few in number and supply continues in room is not ensured in many cities.
SMALL BATCH
Typical in Las Vegas are small lots of origin. Homeowners in places like Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota are used to having 1 to 10 of Acre Acre sites in Las Vegas a lot of 6,000 feet square is typical of a 3,000 square foot home, and many of the lots are smaller than that. There are, of course, exceptions to the rule. Many lots are custom available that offer an acre or more, but prices rise dramatically for households with large lots.
AVERAGE AGE
Most of the houses in Las Vegas were built between 1990 and 2008. There are areas in town with older homes, many of these areas are subject to redevelopment. Thus, the average age of a home in Las Vegas is much more recent than found in many U.S. cities. Somehow that is a real advantage because there is much less paint lead, asbestos and mold.
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
Buyers of the central region often comment on the quality of home construction in Las Vegas. The typical tract house is built with standard wood-framed exterior walls and wooden or particle board covered with painted stucco coating of "chicken wire." Since households that appear to finish last for a very long time in the desert is very little home built with a brick or wood exterior popular elsewhere.
COMMUNITIES Master Plan
Las Vegas, and other Southwestern states, has seen the development of hundreds of planned communities. Its benefits are numerous and include walking / running paths, bike paths, tennis courts, golf facilities, spa, traffic control, with business address and created schools and parks. Many buyers seek to dominate planned communities for their offers common element. Others avoid them because of their uniformity.
In summary, the houses in Las Vegas real estate are similar to others in the Southwest, but radically different from the Midwest or the eastern cities.
