You can print short run traditional offset printers
It is common to assume that traditional offset printers can not print in the short term. However, this is not true. Traditional offset printers can print short run if you wanted. However, since there are a lot of processes involved in order to create the prints, the printing cost will increase considerably in order to cover the pre press processes.
The rationale is that offset printing is intended for mass printing. The more copies you create, the lower the price per printed piece becomes. simple math: The cost of the processes of media previous fall in the number of copies you order. The more copies means more production costs will be divided and if you reach a certain amount of copies to cover production cost, only need to pay for the paper and ink.
