Cam Quality
The Linksys Wireless PTZ webcam uses MPEG-4 and MJPEG video compression. Video quality 640x480 is good. Images are smooth with minimum lag. You can also check the video settings in which they will realize that the video 25 frames per second is perfect, with sound enabled, for viewing over the network.
The only downside to the picture quality is the color off. Despite arriving smooth, clear images, the colors are inaccurate. But if you're strictly surveillance camera, color fidelity should not matter much, right? "

Cam Characteristics
The Linksys Wireless PTZ Internet camera comes with a good pan, tilt and zoom capabilities.
