Youth Helmet

Everything is worth saving for Youth
During the 1970s, a Marine platoon commander took his boots young people through training water for survival. Each Marine was to jump on a 12-foot deep water well in a 15-foot high tower, fully clothed, with boots and helmet. He went to the surface and tread water for ten minutes to prove he could survive in the water during the fight.
One Black Navy froze in the tower. No matter what was said to him by his commander platoon or the other Marines, he could not be obliged to leap. After the debate, he confessed to his platoon commander was not a good swimmer, and he feared that if he jumped with the added weight of clothing and helmets, would not be able to stay afloat, and would drown.
The platoon commander took a thief Shepherd, a long pole with a hook at the end of his mount and promised that if he was going, which would extend the rod to him and pull him up if necessary. To the surprise of the commander, Navy stiffened, cried: "Sir, yes sir!" And he jumped from the tower. It proved to be prophetic sinks to the bottom and standing there, twelve feet deep, with arms wide open waiting for the touch of shepherd's crook, small bubbles escaping upward of pursed lips. The thief was extended, he rushed at her, and walked to the safety of the other Marines cheered.
Each child who is treated in a similar residential treatment center jumps to life and struggling to stay afloat, so to speak. Some have even sunk to the bottom of their young lives, and are full of pain, fear and shame that can not safely through without help from others. What is surprising is when someone cares enough to extend the shepherd's crook to young people, and lift up. This is the true essence of mental health care. Such work is rewarding and yet very difficult and discouraging, causing caregivers sometimes wonder if they are making a difference, even if it's worth the effort.
There are at least four reasons for save a young, despite the challenges and roadblocks. In applying these four reasons, we must remember that the length and grip are words of action involving freedom of choice. Those in mental health care can not save someone who refuses to be saved. The word "save" becomes a relative term. It means doing the best we can to help other people help themselves.
1. The human soul is worth saving. Caregivers must believe that all people with who work have a great value. Young people who are struggling emotionally or behavioral in their lives, may not appear attractive or enjoyable to work. Often not seen as worth the penalty save, and are resigned to failure and unhappiness. Mental health caregiver must be able to see behind the mask of behavior and dissonance with the soul truly great that it has been overshadowed by the ugliness. Each must be seen as truly valuable and important to rescue.
2. Life has an important purpose. One of the greatest tragedies in life is the person who fails to discover their potential and value. If there is no purpose in life, there is no purpose in saving. A teen will become in what he or she values. Everything will be valued spend their time doing, or what is habit. Mental health carers should see the potential of every life. This vision help them to have patience, forbearance and persistent.
3. Each person has a great potential. In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy was told a disheartened by the good witch she had always had the power to go home. All I had to do was click the heels of her magic red shoes together three times and repeat the words: "No no place like home. "This surprised that Dorothy had seen themselves as helpless and totally dependent on the great and powerful Oz. In fact, all the characters main-the lion desired value, the tin man wanted a heart, and the straw man who wanted a brain and had, but had only to discover. The one way to save a young person is helping save themselves by empowering them to see the ability within themselves. The power must come from inside. In this regard, caregivers are prophets who inspired the vision while teaching the principles of success. Vision lifts the client to its potential for hope and trust and act positively.
4. Let's blessings in life by obedience to the laws of Directors. The laws governing the world: physical, spiritual and civil. For all laws, there are advantages and disadvantages, the blessings and punishments. youth struggling normally found on the short end of the sentence and negative consequences of law. When they rebel against the laws that govern life, jeopardize the opportunities and blessings that come from obedience to that law. This is something that is strongly learned in an environment in which they are accountable for a company but tactfully. Empowering young to obey instead of rebelling frees them from the consequences of contempt confinement. Indeed a matter of learning to do right, instead of demanding to do whatever we want.
These four values or reasons that may help carers support the vision of their work and keep a positive attitude while expanding the perspective to help those who depend on their care. A thankful heart is better pay than money, and supports caregivers in their difficult task of extending the criminal pastor to those in need.
