Bike Bags Panniers
What kind of road bike should I get?
Ok here's the situation ... I am looking for a bicycle to and from work. It is 24 miles with a total amount of the hills. I would also like for long weekend trips as well. I would like but I'm willing to spend 500 to go to 1000. I know there's a certain amount of money where you can get a very pleasant bike without paying for the luxuries. That's what I'm looking for. But if there are any components that must splurge on what they are? Many of the bikes I've been watching are the motorcycle races. I used to ride a touring bike, but I felt it was too heavy for my travels. With my bike tourist who had a plan saddlebags but just get a Timbuk2 bag in the future. I would like some suggestions on what to buy and where to buy? And all tips they suggest. Thanks as
