If you were a mayor, how would you explain the municipal government impotance children in your community's municipal ?????????????????? provide bike paths, recreation centers, police officers, public lighting, pedestrian crossings, fire, libraries, recreation, clean water. They also collect taxes, make contracts, provide services and to make laws and ordinances health, safety and welfare of its residents.
I would try to make everything an analogy of things children are familiar, and the school. It could be Mayor said that the director is like and then go from there. I teach special education and what I see with most kids, unless you can connecting new ideas with the things they already know, do not get very far. Hope this helps.
