Cycling Shimano Flight Deck Computer & Sidi Genius 6.6 for cycling?
Is the flight deck team really good road bike high end? Is it really wireless or cables are still needed? Are there other computers on this bike you recommend? This also indicates the change that is in and integrates with Dura-Ace (even Ultegra) is genius 6.6 Sidi cycling shoes worth the price tag of great truth? Do not run or small? Thanks big fans of cycling ...
You can not really comment on the 6.6, but I like my Sidi, provided it fits properly. My genius' are quite old, and have Sidi Techno Fire for MTN biking. As I can change so much between the road and MTN, the love of the Fire, and do not like sliding around the time looking for tacos al style, I threw 959 in my litespeed and use Firefox for my road bike as well (I think I heard a collective sigh of roadies). But Sidi run a little narrow, so be sure to use them in the store for a while to find the right size. I was sure I buy size 41.5, but I thought that lead in the warehouse for a while. after 25 min, they were tight and I moved to 42. fit. To cover flight computer, mine is not wireless. connects via cable to both STI shifters and front wheel sensor. I use it on a group of 03 Dura-Ace. Yes, shows what is running, and enter the exact size of each one of its gears, you can calculate your cadence (pedaling speed) without having to put a sensor on the crank. It has lots of features - how I need more, or have bothered to learn. To me, the big advantage is that the flight deck, which does not have to remove their hoods hands to press the buttons, because buttons are integrated into the bells of STIs. If that does not sound good enough to justify the high price, then choose something else. the characteristics of the cyclocomputer itself does not justify its price. One more thing - if you do not really need wireless, I passed over. What's wrong with a wire running to your fork? only means that an extra battery to maintain, with the risk that your cyclocomputer can not function if there are radio intereference, and have read the warning companies HID light as the light-n-motion that sometimes the lights will not work if you run a wireless computer. I do not know why.
