Motorcycle Wash and Wax Information
Motorcycle Wash & Wax
Required:
A quality car wash (which we like Turtle Wax Ice) And Bucket
Bug and tar remover
Gloves (personal preference)
Cleaner engine and / or degreasing (use only in non-paint and chrome surfaces)
small brush (use a toothbrush)
Soft wheel cleaning brush
Cleaner Wheel
Microfiber sponge mitt covers or microfiber cleaning
Plush towels or microfiber towels
Suede or synthetic chamois dry
WD40
Be sure to clean, wash and polish your bike in a place that is in the shade.
Fill bucket with hot water and washing Car of choice.
Before starting the clean laundry and insects or tar from your motorcycle. Use a sponge or cloth to separate the one used for washing. We recommend using a bug and tar cleaner. Some people use WD40 to remove bugs and tar.
If your car has a matte finish piping can be used a degreaser for cleaning. Be careful not to get the degreaser on the paint finish and chrome elements.
Use the toothbrush to reach all areas are too small to get their hands on.
Spray your tires with the wheel cleaner stand for a minute or two. Then use the brush to wheel cleaning brake dust off.
NO DO NOT use any type of tire wear and if issues with the tires.
Pre wet motorcycle before washing. Wash the motorcycle with a sponge or wash mitt microfiber microfiber. Rinse sponge or mitt often because dirt or debris on the sponge or glove may cause scratches / damage to the paint.
Rinse the soap off his motorcycle with clean water.
Use your cloth to dry your motorcycle. This will help eliminate waterspots. A chamois will not scratch or damage the paint.
Polish your bike with a clean terry cloth. Drizzle the glaze over the towel to gently apply the glaze to the motorcycle. Follow the manufacturer's instructions as some polishes do not apply to all surfaces.
