Help with my seatpost / clamp please ...?

Hello, I just bought a GT Avalanche 1.0 MTB. It has a micro adjust alloy seat post, and a forged aluminum quick release.seat notebook. Every time I ride it, the job keeps slipping little by little on the bike, making the lower seat, no matter how well they hold. Any idea on how I can help? Could it be because the post is a kind of painted in black, where the state comes down?
