Specialized Mountain Bike
Is it possible to negotiate a 2009 mountain bike price down?
I was looking at a brand new 2009 specialized mountain bike that sells for MSRP. ($770) Has anybody had experience getting a new bike for less than MSRP? These bike shops don't seem to want to budge! I guess its not like buying a car..?? Any pointers in getting a lesser price? Thanks...
It is going to be pretty difficult to find any bike dealer that will go down on price at the beginning of the riding season, and no dealer that has their head on straight will even give away things like bottle cages or other stuff since these things are the only things they can really make money on.
